About
L3CAM is an advanced sensing unit that combines high resolution lidar imaging with cameras. It includes RGB, polarimetric or thermal cameras perfectly fused with the lidar image, without parallax errors. The objective is to generate an automated detection system using the best of each sensor (as in autonomous vehicles), so that it is operative in different environmental conditions (night, day, fog, bad weather). The possibility of detection in different image modes allows an AI-based detection without errors or false alarms. The system includes an edge computing system that can perform sensing and detection within the unit. It is possible to customize the system both in terms of its detections and in terms of the available image modes.
