Nikola Vaptsarov Naval Academy (NVNA)

Nikola Vaptsarov Naval Academy (NVNA) is the oldest technical educational institution in Republic of Bulgaria. Its history and past and present achievements establish it as the most prestigious center for training of maritime specialists in the country. Nikola Vaptsarov Naval Academy has established itself as a center of fundamental and applied science research in the area of naval science and marine technologies, provides education and scientific support to the Bulgarian Navy and the Maritime industry.

Nikola Vaptsarov Naval Academy (NVNA) possesses traditions and a unique material base of simulators and laboratories in the training of highly qualified specialists for the military and commercial fleet and military medicine. Develops fundamental scientific and applied expertise and innovations in the field of the maritime industry and international projects and programs.

In the past five years, NVNA successfully concluded 10 and is currently implementing more than 15 international and national projects in the field of innovation fundamental scientific and applied research, training and education.
