My organisation
The Secretariat of State for Social Rights is a key institution within the Spanish government, operating under the Ministry of Social Rights, Consumption and Agenda 2030. Its main mission is to develop, coordinate, and implement social policies that promote inclusion, equality, and the protection of vulnerable groups, including children, the elderly, people with disabilities, and those in situations of dependency or social exclusion.
In addition to managing Spain's social services system, the Secretariat is actively engaged in social innovation initiatives. These aim to create new models and tools to improve social welfare, foster community participation, and develop more effective responses to complex social challenges. This includes supporting experimental projects, cooperation with the third sector, and encouraging digital transformation in social services.
