CRESCER - Associação de Intervenção Comunitária

Founded in 2001, CRESCER is an NGO that seeks to engage with others by promoting health, harm reduction, and the inclusion of vulnerable individuals through community intervention projects. We impact approximately 2,500 people annually, including people experiencing homelessness, people who use drugs, migrants, refugees, and asylum seekers. Since 2019, we have viewed employability as a path to inclusion and have created five social businesses in the restaurant sector and a catering service. By offering certified training and on-the-job experience in our restaurants, CRESCER equips people with lived experienced of homelessness with the skills and tools for successful integration into the labour market and community.
