Electrostatic Micro-Actuators: demonstration partner sought

Rémy Tribhout

Founder at Phigi

About

Phigi is looking for a partner to carry out a proof of concept to demonstrate the effectiveness of its electrostatic actuators in a specific application. Funding is already secured.

  1. Precise control the addition of electrostatic actuators enables precise interaction with particles in liquid or gaseous phases, providing microscale sorting, handling and assembly capabilities for a variety of industrial sectors

  2. Low power consumption: their light weight and small size make them portable and ensure lower power consumption than other types of actuators

  3. Fast Response: the use of electrostatic actuators offers fast, precise response, essential for applications requiring fine, differentiated actuation

  4. Ease of manufacturing: microactuators are manufactured using standard manufacturing processes, reducing costs and facilitating high volume production

  5. Selective manipulation: Electrostatic microactuators can be programmed to attract or repel specific particles, enabling targeted applications such as cell separation or material purification

  6. Easy integration: Due to their small size and ability to be electrostatically controlled, these electrostatic microactuators can be easily integrated into existing systems to enhance or add microscale sorting and manipulation functionality.
