About

The surface platform has 1200 m2 dedicated to surface treatment by magnetron sputtering technology with laboratory-sized but also industrial reactors. The available technologies are generators: RadioFrequency, Direct Current, pulsed DC, High Power Impulse Magnetron Sputtering, cathodic arc; The Surface platform produces metallic or ceramic films (oxide, nitride, carbide, oxy-nitride, etc.) in reactive conditions.

The Surface platform also has an experimental park for characterization: XRD, SEM with EDS+EBSD, Thermo Balance, Mechanical characterization (hardness, adhesion, friction, etc.), 3D Profilometer, Electrochemical characterization, etc.
