Nicolas Gouze

VDI/VDE  Innovation  +  Technik  GmbH  is  a  non-governmental  Berlin-based  private  research and  innovation  agency focusing on  new  technologies  to  generate  real  economic  and  social impacts. VDI/VDE-IT, which is owned by two German engineering associations, is offering to public  authorities and  private  customers  a  comprehensive  set  of  services  along  the  entire innovation  chain  from ideation,  research  funding,  evaluation,  business model  generation, growth phase implementation, to global economic exploitations. The company has 1000 employees and is managing public funds in the order of one billion Euro per year. It was founded in 1978, has covered fundamental innovations in many fields including the automobile, urban mobility and the transportation system since decades, not just through a multitude of funding programme management assignments on behalf of the German Federal Government, but also as coordinator of multiple EU projects. Being the office of the European Technology Platform on Smart Systems Integration (EPoSS), VDI/VDE-IT is a member of the European Partnerships CCAM, 2Zero, Batt4EU and KDT/Chips JU. A major focus of the work has been on international collaborations beyond Europe. The company is certified for its quality management and information security management systems according to the ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 standards.
