Milena Pepe

TENUTA CAVALIER PEPE is a family winery located in the heart of Irpinia, in the red wine denomination: TAURASI DOCG, in the Campanian region, of Southern Italy.

The estate has 70 hectares of vineyards and 10 hectares of olive trees, a restaurant and a residence.

The company presents a wide range of wines from Irpinia and Campania: red, white, rosé, sparkling wines, a passito wine and extra virgin olive oil. Products highly appreciated on the national and international market, with excellent feedback from wine critics. The work and passion of the Pepe Family and the contribution of highly specialized collaborators are among the fundamental ingredients. The company cultivates its vineyards most, bottles its own wine and directly takes care of all the production up to the sales of the bottle. In 2016, the estate became part of the FIVI association.

WINE TOURISM

• "A Day in Irpinia" and " A Harvest Day" are the main proposals to spend a whole day on the estate. For lunch, the restaurant "La Veduta", offers wine tasting paired with traditional local dishes.

• Walk through vineyards and centuries-old olive orchards.

  Walking in the open air you can get to know the area and discover what lies behind the creation of a bottle of wine.

• Visit to the winery & wine tasting: All year round, by reservation, it is possible to make visits with a technical tasting of your choice.

• Grape & olive harvest: During the harvest there will be grape harvesting and grape-treading in traditional wooden barrels. In November there are days dedicated to the olive harvest.

RESTAURANT

The restaurant "La Veduta", surrounded by nature, is located at the highest point of the estate and offers an enchanting view of the villages of Irpinia. Here, lovers of good food can appreciate authentic and traditional Italian cuisine.
