About me
I hold a BSc. in Biological Sciences and a MSc. in Aquaculture, Environment and Society. I have knowledge across a variety of species and farming techniques and commercial experience working with technical and welfare standards in the salmon aquaculture industry. I have also participated in the implementation and trialing of innovative technologies within the sector. I have collaborated with partners from Europe, Africa, and China on a variety of aquaculture-related topics through the management and coordination of projects under the Horizon 2020, Horizon Europe and national funding frameworks.
My organisation
The SUBMARINER Network brings together actors from the Baltic Sea Region and beyond to promote innovative and sustainable uses of marine resources to protect our marine environment and promote sustainable economic development. The Network connects research and education institutions, business support organisations, authorities, private companies, and civil society to integrate local perspectives into transnational frameworks. As a flagship network under the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region (EUSBSR) and the coordinator of the Horizon CSA Blue Mission BANOS, we represent the blue economy at a trans-regional level. The SUBMARINER Network is a registered not-for-profit European Economic Interest Grouping (EEIG).
