About me
Helping to protect our critical infrastructures!
I'm an international specialist and trusted advisor in the field of OT Cyber Security with over 25 years of experience protecting critical infrastructures. I have worked with governments, multinational corporations, national research organizations, advisory firms, and critical infrastructure asset owners. I have served various national and international cybersecurity initiatives in different roles.
In the past I was a co-author of the first National Cyber Security Strategy of the Dutch government and led the Dutch Cyber Security Information Sharing and Analysis Centres (ISACs) before they merged into the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) in early 2012. I was a co-founder of the Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP) certification from GIAC.
I studied Chemistry at the University of Groningen and Business Economics at the Academy of Management. I have extensive experience in preparing companies for NIS(2) EU directive, implementing Cyber Security Management Systems, OT Security risk management and workforce development.
