The purpose of the project is to develop strategies to reduce the incidence of smear-positive Pulmonary Tuberculosis in rural areas of Hadiya zone, Central Ethiopia. The project has 6 objectives
.To assess and determine the impact ofvthe Spatial Epidemiology of smear-positive pulmonary Tuberculosis from January 2019 to December 2023
.To examine and determine the current trend of smear-positive PTB from January 2024 to December 2026
.To indentify and determine geographical areas of on-going smear-positive PTB transmission
.To investigate determinants associated factors with smear-positive PTB
.To explore factors influencing the prevalence of PTB
.To develop strategies to reduce the prevalence of pulmonary TB
