We are a network of 24 LATAM Universities looking for partners to work on the scientific understanding and optimization of probiotics. Our project aims to integrate cutting-edge European methodologies with the rich expertise of Latin America to enhance the development of health-related applications in food and probiotics. By combining advanced scientific approaches with local knowledge, we seek to promote sustainable practices that not only improve the quality and safety of food products but also contribute to environmental stewardship. In addition, we aim to strengthen the export potential of local food production systems, ensuring that they meet international standards while preserving the unique characteristics of the region’s biodiversity. This collaboration will drive innovation, foster economic growth, and create healthier, more sustainable food options for both local and global markets.
