LIFE WARRIOR: new treatment train for reclaimed water production
About
The solution proposed is based on two technologies: (i) Reused ultrafiltration (UF) membranes: Reused ultrafiltration membranes from drinking water treatment plants will be used, (ii) Ultraviolet LED lamps: A low-energy, chemical-free disinfection process will be applied. This system will be coupled to a digital tool, a DSS that will help estimate and extend the lifespan of UF membranes. This tool, which will be marketed separately, will also have a risk calculation system, with digitized health safety plans.
LIFE WARRIOR will develop a platform ( Re-UF Market Place) to connect suppliers of used membranes, primarily water operators or administrations that operate water treatment plants, with end users.
