About

The University of Alicante, through the Business Relations Area, makes available to companies and entrepreneurs a *business information window* on research activities, projects and technologies applicable to the business fabric.

This area is made up of qualified technicians from the University who know in detail the capabilities, research results, technological offers and patents of the research groups of the University of Alicante.

The main objective of this area is to put companies in contact with researchers to facilitate the development of R&D&i projects and seek technological solutions to possible business needs.

In addition, they are responsible for making the business community and society as a whole aware of the latest research, technologies and projects developed by the University staff, so that they can be used and applied in their companies.

Likewise, the detection and cataloging of innovative technology from research projects carried out by University staff is continually carried out. The objective of this cataloging is to search for results that can be applicable in our socioeconomic environment. To achieve this, there are different technology transfer routes depending on its characteristics and the needs of the companies, such as the development of R&D projects, specialized advice or the license to exploit its own patents.
