New European Bauhaus Facility - Virtual matchmaking event 2025

How does this online matchmaking event work?

A matchmaking event is a quick and easy way to meet potential cooperation partners. 20 minutes run fast, but they are enough to build first connections before the meeting ends and the next talk starts.

1) Registration

Register via the button "Register now"

  • Add contact and organisation details.

  • Select "Create a new organisation" and do not join an existing organisation. Otherwise, you cannot choose which NEB Calls - here named Areas of Activities - you would like to find collaborators for.

  • Select a maximum of 3 different 'Areas of Activity' (NEB calls) for which you are looking for cooperation partners or would like to offer your expertise.

  • Provide a meaningful organisation profile in English under "Organisation Information > Organisation description"

  • Create meaningful marketplace opportunitie(s) in English  for at least one of the selected NEB calls / Areas of Activity (see explanation and instructions under point 2)

  • You must participate in at least one of the meeting sessions

Please note that registration does not automatically guarantee that you will be accepted as a participant. The organisers will check and validate each individual profile and only then admit you to the event. In order to be validated, you must meet the above criteria!

2 ) Creation of high-quality marketplace opportunitie(s)

Your Marketplace is the place to showcase your specific expertise and partnering needs related to a NEB call.

Here are a few advises to ensure that your marketplace will raise your visibility amongst the other participants and generate more qualitative meetings:

  • For the ease of the reference, use the call ID in the title or part of it (eg. NEB-2025-PARTICIPATION-01 or only PARTICIPATION-01) and a couple of key words.
    You have only 160 characters; titles with more than 160 characters do not get published.

  • Make your opportunities clear and concise, and

    • describe who you are;

    • provide an informative and topic specific description of the project/technology/expertise you are offering or looking for;

    • present your role in the consortium and specify the type of partner you are looking for.

Good marketplace opportunities is a precondition for acceptance of your registration

3) Book meetings | 13.05. - 01.06.2025

Be active, not reactive. Browse through the published participants list and send meeting requests to those who you would like to meet during the event (see below).

Please do not forget to regularly check the meeting requests sent to you and accept or reject them! Accepted meeting requests are automatically scheduled well in advance of the event, so you can be prepared for whom to meet and when.

4) Matchmaking Event | 5.06.2025

Access your meetings in My Agenda, where you have your complete schedule for the event and the list of your meetings. Check your camera and microphone and don't be late!
