We offer certified safes for business use

The safes are mainly made for business use. The doors are held by an external hinge that can be opened 180 degrees, making loading and unloading much easier. The door can be 8 to 10 cm thick, which would make it very difficult to use with an internal hinge and a 90 degree opening (as in the case of safes).

Strauss Metal vaults are available with key lock as standard. For categories K and M, the basic price includes 2 Kaba-Mauer locks - as per specification. Each can be ordered with a double lock, even in a key + electronic version for increased security.

The safes are equipped with shelves only as standard. Optionally, some smaller accessories can be requested, such as a cash box, a deposit slot or a smaller drawer with key lock. Inside the safes there is much more space, so the list of available accessories is also wider. They all have at least one shelf and you can order the following as options.

Accessories available: • Extra shelves: you may need extra shelves to store small items, files, money boxes. Height adjustable every 5 cm, can be rearranged at will. • Internal compartment: A small storage compartment inside the safe with a folding door with key lock, with a width and depth equal to the internal dimensions of the safe, with a height of 18 or 36 cm. From size 6 upwards. • Folder holder in the safe: the perfect solution for keeping your data organised and easily accessible. It has drawers that can be pulled out along its entire length with a self-closing rail. The drawers can be locked simultaneously, but only one drawer can be pulled out at a time to avoid accidents. • Drawer locker for safe deposit box in size 10 and extra: optional for the two largest sizes. For size 10, the 1-column fits, while the Extra (2-door) size fits with the 2-column. • Safe deposit box: also an option for size 10 and Extra. In this case, 2 pay safe columns can be ordered for size 10 and 3 for size Extra, which fill exactly the space available inside the safe.

Do I need to fix the safe? Lockers under 1000 kg must be fixed to the floor and/or wall. A fixing kit is supplied with all such lockers.

Why do I need to be wired into the alarm system? It is not mandatory to connect safes from MABISZ G downwards to the alarm system. However, they can only be insured up to half the maximum insurance limit available for the given rating category. However, all Strauss Metal safes and strongboxes are prepared for alarm connection, so you can insure your valuables up to the maximum limit.

Available colours: Strauss Metal safes leave the factory in light grey (RAL 7035) or black as standard. However, for an additional charge, any colour from the RAL colour chart can be selected and applied to the surface by electrostatic powder spraying. This process is a modern and environmentally friendly painting process for metal products, after which the paint is permanently fixed by firing. The result is a hard as stone yet flexible material that protects all the elements of the cabinet from corrosion.
