In our reasearch we are focusing on neuromuscular disorders. We are interseted in molecular mechanisms regulating NMJ morphology and function.

My organisation

The institute’s scientific and research endeavors are organized into three centers: ·       Life Sciences and Biotechnology (LS&BC), ·       Population Diagnostics (PDC) and ·       Material Sciences and Engineering (MS&EC). These centers house specialized Research Groups, supported by state-of-the-art measurement laboratories and core facilities. Łukasiewicz - PORT also houses a biobank, Polish National Node (PNN) of the BBMRI-ERIC network.

About me

During my PhD studies I was focused on brain metabolsim and astrocyte-neuron cross-talk. Previously, I also worked with electrophysiology in the field of learning and memory. Now my reasearch is focued on neuromuscular junction and the role of Cap2 protein in the NMJ maintenance and functioning.
