UK National Quantum Technologies Showcase 2024 - Brokerage Event

Attending a brokerage event offers a convenient and efficient way to connect with potential partners for collaboration, all on the same day in an organised setting.

20 minutes runs fast, but they are crucial for building initial connections. They provide a targeted way to meet potential collaboration partners, allowing participants to quickly evaluate each other's interests and expertise and identify common goals.

Create your profile to showcase who you are and what are you looking for

• Create a clear and concise profile to raise your visibility on the b2match platform.

• Your profile should describe who you are, what you can offer to potential partners, and who you want to meet. Don’t forget to add a pitch, biography, your skills and interests to your profile.

• A good networking profile will generate significantly more meeting requests.

Marketplace

• Explain the product you are offering/looking for.

• Specify the type of partner you are looking for.

• Your co-operation profile is your business card so ensure you write a high-quality and meaningful profile.

Your availability

• Plan your attendance and choose the sessions for your meetings.

• Ensure that you do not book meetings outside the matchmaking event during these sessions.

Registrations for the brokerage event will close on Monday 4th November 2024 at 17:00 BST.

Once you have registered, your profile will be approved and published online.

• All published profiles will be promoted extensively by the organisers of this event.

• High-quality profiles are visited between 50 and 150 times before the event.

Go to the participants list to find out who you could meet at the event and who is offering interesting and promising business opportunities.

Use the filters on the right or browse through your AI Profile recommendations in the 'My Matches' section to narrow down your selection and find the most suitable collaboration partners that match your goals and interests. This allows you to maximise your chances of making valuable connections and achieving successful outcomes at the event.

Browse participant profiles and send meeting requests to those you want to meet during the brokerage event. Introduce yourself by sending messages to participants and initiating conversations before the event to establish stronger connections.

• Meetings can be booked from Friday 13th September 2024 until Wednesday 6 November 2024.

• Filter co-operation profiles and find the ones that aligned with your goals.

• Request meetings with the companies that interest you. 

• Accept or reject the meetings you are sent.

• When accepting a meeting request, you are agreeing to participate in the matchmaking event and your potential business partner will travel to the event in order to meet with you. Please respect the organisers and your potential future business partners by being on time for your meetings

• If unforeseen circumstances occur and you are not able to attend, please cancel your meetings through the platform and inform us ASAP.

Meetings must be booked by Wednesday 6th November 2024 at 17:00 BST.

To access your meetings please go to 'My Schedule' or 'Meetings', where you can find the list of your meetings.

Our team will be available to help during the brokerage event. Please ensure to:

• Check the latest version of your meeting schedule through the platform (please also check this 24 hours before the event)

• Be at the brokerage event area 5 minutes before your meeting.

• Respect other participants' time and show up to all your meetings, they are your potential future business partner.

• If unforeseen circumstances occur and you will not be able to attend, please cancel your meetings through the platform. This way, other participants will be notified.
