Photo-Catalytic wet paint

PCN Materials , (www.pcnmaterials.com) a spin-off of FORTH, has developed with VITEX the 1st and only photo-catalytic wet paint for indoor applications in Greece under the trade name VIEX FOS ( https://www.vitex.gr/product/vitex-fos/)..)

This novel wet paint is suitable for application in theater/meeting rooms, underground parking lots, road tunnels. Its unique photocatalytic attributes to decompose inorganic and organic airborne pollutants including such as car exchust NOx gases, VOCs, Formaldehyde, etc is already demonstrated in a number of projects. Among these is the application in a road tunnel in Stalida highway, Crete, application in more than 14 road tunnels by OLYMPIA ODOS in the section of the new highway Patra-Pyrgos, and recently, by STASY/ATTIKO METRO initially in the PANORMOY station and later in more metro stations in Athens.
