At the University of West Attica (UniWA), we are committed to fostering academic excellence and innovation in higher education.

In order to create a bridge between the university's research community and external entities, we have established the Technology Transfer Office (TTO) which effectively links UniWA's research endeavors with the productive sectors of society.

Key Functions of the TTO at UniWA:

• Identification and Commercialization of Research: The TTO identifies research outcomes with commercial potential and assists researchers in transforming these innovations into marketable products or services.

• Intellectual Property (IP) Management: It provides guidance on protecting intellectual property rights, including patenting processes, to ensure that researchers' innovations are legally safeguarded.

• Industry Collaboration: The office facilitates partnerships between UniWA researchers and industry stakeholders, promoting the practical application of research findings and fostering collaborative projects.

• Entrepreneurial Support: It supports the establishment and operation of spin-off companies, offering consultation services on business models and assisting in the development of technology-intensive startups.
