CENAERO (private, non-profit) is an applied research center located in Gosselies, Belgium. Its ambition is to drive innovation in the industry based on advanced methodologies and tools in the field of numerical simulation, optimization and data analytics. CENAERO counts more than 80 highly skilled engineers and PhD's specialized in numerical methods, materials, structures and manufacturing processes modelling, computational fluid dynamics, physics and applied mathematics. Mainly, and historically, active in The Aerospace Industry, CE NAERO is also diversified in Manufacturing and Process industry, as well as Energy and Built Environment.

CENAERO cooperates with both regional SMEs and international companies (CENAERO is a key partner of SAFRAN group) through direct contracts and collaborative research programs at the Regional and European scales. In that sense, CENAERO is strongly involved in EU projects as either key partner or coordinator (Horizon Europe, EuroHPC, Era-Net, Interreg).
