Wydawnictwo Debit has been present on the publishing market for 30 years. Our mission is to entertain and educate young readers through books that spark dreams, reflections, exchanges of thoughts and learning. We aim to publish great authors and illustrators bringing to our readers books that meet their needs as well as possible. Our frontlist and backlist encompass several hundred titles. Young readers are very keen on "Franklin the Turtle" and "Les Emotions de Gaston" series, older readers love "Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls". We publish around 30 new titles and at least 15 reprints per year. We have already published several Catalan and Spanish authors. We are proud to have in our list and in our YA imprint called Mlody Book beautiful and wise books by Raquel Díaz Requera, Mònica Peitx and Cristina Losantos, Victor Escandell, Emilio Urberuaga, Eva Manzano, Lucía Serrano Maria Hesse, Fran Ruiz, Alfonso Casas, David Aceituno, Laura Gallego, Anna Salvia, Cristina Torron, Mireia Trius, Jaume Copons and Liliana Fortuny as well as Mariona Tolosa Sistere. We keep expanding our list since we believe that Catalan, Baque and Spanish authors and illustrators make it more versatile and would like to continue bringing their work to the Polish reader.

About me

I have been working in publishing since graduation. I commenced my work translating English literature. The first book in my translation was DEATH OF AN EXPERT WITNESS by P.D. James.

I continued my professional career working as acquisition editor. One of the highlights of this period was participation in the Frankfurt Book Fair Fellowship. It was a formative experience for me and enabled me to make many friends in the publishing world as well as get to know more about international publishing and networking practices.

Wydawnictwo Debit has been my home for almost ten years now. I have revamped the publishing program and built a very interesting list of children's titles. I am very proud to have brought to Poland GOOD NIGHT STORIES FOR REBEL GIRLS series, WILD SYMPHONY by Dan Brown, several children’s and YA comics as well as works of numerous Spanish authors and illustrators who are very much appreciated by Polish readers. I hope to continue this mission expanding the list and purchasing right from markets that are less known to Polish readers.
