New mechanisms of AChR regulation at neuromuscular junction.

About
Investigating how synapses form and maintain communication between nerves and muscles utilizing advanced microscopy techniques to observe these dynamic processes, offering detailed insights into the molecular organization and functioning of synapses.
To complement imaging techniques we employ a wide array of molecular, cellular and genetic tools to dissect the complex pathways involved in synapse formation and receptor regulation. This interdisciplinary approach allows to explore how acetylocholine receptors are regulated, how they and other interactors contribute to the overall organization of synapses and what roles they play in neuromuscular disorders. My main aim is to provide a deeper understanding of synaptic plasticity and potential therapeutic targets for diseases affecting the neuromuscular system.
