Digitized local government and the development of smart cities in Germany: the topics of the Smart Country Convention are more relevant than ever. Many cities and regions have already embarked on the journey to a digital future – some more rapidly than others. There are first movers and latecomers, although in the end everyone must benefit. From 15 to 17 October 2024, taking place for the seventh time, the Smart Country Convention will show how digitally transforming the public sector works. The expo and conference will gather all the relevant players representing local government, politics, the digital economy, associations and science and focus on key topics concerning E-Government, smart cities and smart regions.
