Incoming Mission Sicily on Wine 2025

Sicindustria, partner of Enterprise Europe Network, organizes Sicily on Wine, an exclusive incoming mission and B2B, connecting Sicilian wine producers with international buyers and journalists.
This event is organised in collaboration with Wonderfood Communication and coorganised by partners of Enterprise Europe Network (the Business Network of the European Commission), Agrifood Sector Group.

• Connecting trade professionals, media, and Sicilian wineries – Creating a dynamic network between international buyers, wine producers, and press

• Enhancing the territory of Chiusa Sclafani (Palermo), Sicily, showcasing its potential as a wine, food, and cultural destination

• Promoting participating wineries and Sicilian gastronomy

• Supporting the global expansion of Sicilian wine brands and reinforcing Sicily’s reputation for excellence in food and wine

This incoming mission is structured as follows:

📅 June 15th, 2025 – B2B Matchmaking Event at the ancient Monastery of the Olivetan Fathers in Chiusa Sclafani (PA)

• Pre-arranged bilateral meetings (30 minutes each) between Sicilian wine companies and about 5 international buyers (importers, distributors, retailers, HORECA, wine stores, etc.).

• A unique opportunity to discover new excellences in the wine field to export on the international markets and establish long-term trade relationships.

• Educational Masterclass: A deep dive into the world of Sicilian wines (TBD), led by a renowned journalist or industry expert.

📅 June 16th and 17th, 2025 – Exclusive Winery Tour & Tasting

• Buyers and industry professionals will take part in a guided tour and tasting experience to some representative wineries in the area.

• An immersive journey through Sicily’s winemaking heritage, focusing on native grape varieties and innovative new vintages.

• Sicilian Producers

• International Buyers: Importers,distributors, wholesalers of food and drinks (including wine and spirits); Food chains representatives, Hypermakets/Supermarkets, Purchase agents for hotels and restaurants, Specialty food&wine stores, E-commerce marketplace, and others

• Journalists

International buyers can benefit from a 100% free travel and accommodation which includes the following costs:

• Return tickets to/from Sicily

• Accommodation (3 nights in a 4* hotel)

• Transfer from/to airport

• Working lunch during the B2B meetings

• Participation in the networking activities

• Support in the organisation of the company visits on the 16th and 17th of June
