Svenja Lassen

Svenja Lassen is Managing Director Germany at Gateway Ventures. Gateway is a platform through which investors and business angels can jointly invest in start-ups. The focus is in the seed and growth stage and on the digital economy, health & medtech and sustainability. For more diversity in the startup ecosystem, she founded the Female Investors Network (FIN) for female business angels in DACH in 2020 and co-initiated the mission #25to25 to increase the share of women to 25% by 2025. In 2022, she launched the FIN-Academy, a 6-week online knowledge transfer program for aspiring business angels and won the ‘Female Finance Award’ by FOCUS Money in 2023. Svenja is active as a mentor for founders in many accelerator programs and was awarded the Role Model Award of the Startup Teens as an investor.
