developing alternative product of cocopeat

In Europe Cocopeats are used in all Greenhouse from East Asia. I am thinking about developing alternative material instead of cocopeat.
Because all investors or owners of greenhouses are depended on import. This material is disposable.
We think that we can produce product similar to cocopeat by using rockwool or perlite or We can recycle cocopeats by using cleaning methods.
