TUKE, established in 1952, provides entire complex of higher education (mechanical, civil, electrotechnical engineering, manufacturing technologies, informatics, mining, process control and geotechnology, materials, metallurgy and recycling, aeronautics, economics, and arts), related research and innovation activities in the region of Eastern Slovakia. USP TECHNICOM is a member of European University Alliance Ulysseus, Enterprise Europe Network (supports SMEs in their activities to innovate and grow internationally, become more sustainable and resilient), European Digitalisation Hubs Network (helps companies to face challenges in the area of digitalisation), and supports start-ups that develop their activities within the Start-up and Accelerator Centres. At TUKE there is a large science base for the research including research facilities (Hydrogen Technology Centre, Prototyping and Innovation Centre, Centre for Research and Innovation in Construction, laboratories of biomedical engineering and processes, etc.), innovation and digitalisation hubs, and researchers.
