STAM is an Italian consulting engineering company specialized in the high-tech sector, with a staff of more than 90 people. Since the company establishment, in 1997, we provide support to clients facing new business and technology challenges in the following areas: Space & Defence, Security & Transport, Energy & Environment, and Industry & Automation.

The Robotics and Mechatronics business area of STAM develops technologies to generate positive impacts across multiple sectors: manufacturing, circular economy, infrastructure, health, security, and space. We offer solutions based on industrial automation and robotics engineering, collaborative robotics, extended reality technologies and automation based on user-friendly HMIs, AI-based vision systems for manufacturing and inspection processes, and smart systems for operators’ monitoring. Fundamental to developing our solutions are our competencies, our in-hose 250+ m2 laboratory with its equipment, and the software we use to design, simulate, and test robotic and mechatronic systems.
