CFMM

CFMM is a project coordinated by the Can Kalibro company (Bursa Organized Industrial Zone) that produces Control Fixtures and Uludağ University Mechanical Engineering Department within the scope of a doctoral program.

Similar to a CMM approach, CFMM's aim is to automate the classical manual measurements of car plastic and sheet metal parts.

The advantage of this system is that the measurement strategies are taught to a cobot carrying a profile laser during the design phase without any programming need. Comparing to traditional ones, control fixtures prepared with this approach and specially designed for the job, are much simpler and cheaper.
