The German Eastern Business Association (OA) is the largest regional initiative of German business for 29 partner countries in Eastern Europe, Central Eastern Europe, Russia, South Eastern Europe and Central Asia. The OA is available to its member companies to support projects, arrange contacts and answer questions on market entry. We work closely with the German government and the governments of the partner countries to reduce trade barriers and improve the economic framework conditions in the region.

As a competence center, we inform our members about current market developments through country working groups, specialist conferences, delegation trips, background discussions and print and online publications.

As a door opener, we network our member companies with the German government, the governments of our 29 partner countries and the EU Commission and offer them valuable contacts to the relevant economic players on the ground.

We represent the interests of the entire German economy in bilateral government working groups and committees. Here we promote the business of our members in the region and address their business interests.

The major project for the Countries of the Western Balkans and Croatia is the Internship Programme of German Business which provides companies the golden opportunity to train your future workforce in the frame of internships as well as cooperate closely with the regional alumni network. The network is a regional business network offering trainings, B2B for companies and employer branding.
