Research Director at the Nimbus Centre, leading the definition and implementation of the centre research strategy and funding acquisition. Coordinator of EU funded H2020 DENiM Project focused on energy efficient manufacturing systems through digital technologies.
Research interests lie in topics linked to next generation Internet of Things applications, including distributed trust management, edge and fog architectures, Distributed Ledger Technology and Blockchain, design and optimisation of wireless communication systems, automation and orchestration.
