About me
I am a senior researcher at the Cleaner Production Promotion Unit, a multidisciplinary research group of the Environmental Research Institute and the School of Engineering and Architecture at University College Cork. My research focuses on the theme of society, sustainability, and energy, and is situated at the intersection of the social sciences with science and engineering. As a geographer, I am particularly interested in place as it relates to power and space; and contested ideas of citizenship as it relates to energy. I carry out engaged research, contributing to a multidisciplinary programme comprising resource geographies, energy justice, climate change, landscape ecology, community, governance, agency, and identity.
