La Solar is a cooperative created to provide electricity from renewable sources and mainly solar photovoltaic. Along with ENERCOOP, La Solar supplies clean electricity for partners or customers being established as a non-profit cooperative with the mission to:

·    Provide 100% renewable energy to homes, shops or businesses helping them to empower citizenship in the electric market taking benefit of the new energy model.

·    Continue to produce the majority of sufficient renewable electricity in the southeast regional environment.

·    Stop depending on large power companies.

·    Recover energy sovereignty promoting Renewable energy Communities

·    Work collectively, with transparency and participation in decision making.

La Solar main focus is in encouraging and training in energy saving, providing energy efficiency services,promoting energy self-consumption facilities, both in photovoltaic technology and in solar thermal energy (namely production of domestic hot water). At present, La Solar provides electricity to 1400 customers, either house holders, companies or administrative facilities. It also provides local RES production facilities (PVplants) potentially contributing to communityself-consumption.
