About me
Maria Pia Fanti is full professor of system and control engineering in the Polytechnic of Bari, Italy, and Chair of the Laboratory of Automation and Control.
Prof. Fanti is IEEE Fellow and has published more than 350 papers and two textbooks on her research topics (Intelligent Transportation Systems and manufacturing systems using Artificial Intelligence and optimization approaches). She was scientific responsible for the Polytechnic of Bari of more than 10 European projects and currently she is coordinator the Horizon Europe project IN2CCAM.
My organisation
The Polytechnic of Bari is an Italian university institute of scientific and technological character. Founded in 1990, it is the youngest polytechnic in Italy and the only one in Southern Italy. The subjects of study and research are the disciplines included in the fields of architecture, engineering and industrial design.
