About
At Vital Acoustics, we create hemp-based acoustic products and furniture that are sustainable and provide net carbon storage for the duration of the full life cycle.
We believe quiet and peaceful spaces are necessary, without costing the environment.
Vital Acoustics is 100% biobased acoustic panel used within a conventional track system in category B and C fit-outs. The product is a like for like replacement for existing compressed polyester, or mineral fibre products which have a high embodied energy using harmful materials and destined for landfill.
Vital Acoustics products are designed and produced to the highest International environmental standards Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED v4.1) and made in the UK using locally sourced materials. Our regenerative acoustic panels use hemp which is a sustainable and ecologically sound novel crop, grown in the UK. These strong ecological credentials reduce project’s “Scope 3” emissions enable compliance with the latest updates to Part L of the Building Regulations
Our product celebrates the natural functional performance of the natural materials and uses no synthetic additives, using a naturally derived bioresin system that creates a product that is environmentally friendly and healthy for human and animal exposure as it produces no harmful VOCs or formaldehyde gases.
The product has been designed to be reused, which extends the practical lifespan of the panels and at the end of life, the panels are safely compostable, thus reducing waste and harmful effects at the end of its life.
