Model Engineering is a deep tech company in saving & circulating water & energy and in reducing carbon emissions in the most sustainable way.
Since 1980 we help industries & utilities worldwide to decarbonize and get more self-sufficient in both energy and water. We do this by converting their organic and nutrient waste streams to circular biomethane to replace fossil fuels, to clean water for reuse and to active biofertilizer for healthy soils and crops in both new and existing plants (retrofit upgrade). In addition, we reduce CO2 emissions in a broad range of industries & utilities by boosting their energy conversion and use efficiencies and by capturing their remaining CO2 and use this to replace chemicals.
Our high rate thermophilic AD+™ as applied at full scale since 2013, is 2 to 3 times faster than today's mesophilic AD (anaerobic digestion) and generates up to 50% more biomethane with 50% less residuals which we can convert to active biofertilizer.
As to achieve the highest biomethane yield and water purification with the least residuals at the highest ROI, we apply our unique set of models, advanced biotechnology and deep expertise.
That's why our proven high efficiency 24/7 biopower systems with low cost buffer storage support the public power grid to complement the variable wind and solar power requiring expensive buffer storage.
