AINIA is a non-profit technology center established in 1987, boasting over 35 years of experience in research, development, and innovation. With more than 750 associated companies and approximately 1,600 clients, it ranks among the largest technology centers in Europe by corporate social base. AINIA provides a wide range of services, including R&D&I projects, technological assistance, analytical services, specialized training, food law consulting, consumer studies, and industrial services. Its primary areas of expertise encompass the future of food, food quality and safety, health and wellness, green transition, and digital transformation, serving industries such as agri-food, chemicals, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and packaging. The center operates across several buildings that span over 13,000 square meters, featuring state-of-the-art infrastructure and reference laboratories equipped with advanced measuring instruments. AINIA is recognized for its analytical capacity with more than 140 ENAC (National Accreditation Entity) accredited trials. Committed to innovation and sustainability, AINIA develops projects aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals, focusing on circular economy practices and efficient processes to meet future food demands.
