Our key solution is a P99 fire detection and extinguishing system, designed for rooftop PV installations, which effectively detects and prevents the spread of fire.
An innovative solution that mitigates the fire risk of photovoltaic installations, designed to protect the PV infrastructure and the buildings themselves on which these installations operate.
The system consists of an analog-digital fire detection system and the Telesto® Mist extinguishing system using water mist dedicated to photovoltaic installations.
The task of the system is to eliminate or at least significantly reduce material losses usually caused by firefighting operations (accompanying damage), by eliminating the need for fire brigade intervention or by limiting the impact of destructive extinguishing agents from standard fire protection systems (foam/powder/tons of water).
The detection system uses a proprietary algorithm to early detect the risk of damage to the installation or fire.
When a fire hazard is detected, the photovoltaic panels are automatically disconnected from the inverter and their voltage is reduced to a safe level, enabling fire brigade action. Optionally, the services can be notified.
The system has a wide range of configuration options, including the option of integration with existing fire protection system or building management system.
