The Time Travel Agency's Innovation Process

We are an innovation and design studio focusing on futures design, design fiction, and front-end innovation. Our process helps public and private organizations to imagine different futures, and to inhabit them so they know what it feels like to affect these futures, thus gaining agency.

We do this through a custom-made process consisting of scenario design, prototyping, transformational game design, world-building, and emergent tech like AI and tooling from Webs 3 and 4.

Our presence is in the Nordics (Sweden, Denmark, Finland), the Americas (USA, Canada), and online (blockchain tech). Our work has been supported by the Swedish government through the innovation department of the city of Helsingborg, the Danish Design Center, Helsinki Design Week, Nordisk Kultur Kontakt. In the United States, we work in California and the East Coast.

Futures design is a discipline that contributes to adapting to change, highlighting blind spots, exploring different (possible) future scenarios, and discovering products and services that cause growth and acceleration. Before anything gets built, we must imagine it.

We are looking to expand our services to Latinamerica, and support the current generation of organizations looking to adapt to change. Futures design is an initiative already gaining traction e.g. https://museudoamanha.org.br/ and we would love to bridge the work we have developed in the Nordics since 2019.
