Aerobase coordinated a Swedish national-funded project with GKN Aerospace and Luleå University, where we developed a model for tailoring the microstructure during AM. Also, we are participating in three Horizon Europe Projects 1. FleXcrash, a Horizon Europe project with EURECAT as coordinator, and several companies within the automotive sector. The FleXcrash project aims to integrate several hot-stamped components into a single HPDC+extruded part. 2. ALABAMA is a Horizon Europe project with SINTEF as the coordinator and several industrial partners within the automotive, aerospace, and marine sectors as members. Aerobase develops digital twins for the L-DED process and necessary material models. 3. RESTORE is a Horizon Europe project coordinated by the European Welding Federation and has 20 partners. Aerobase works with the modeling of the Laser cladding process and the modeling of material behavior.
