DFactory Barcelona is the international benchmark technology ecosystem for Industry 4.0, promoted by the CZFB. This centre aims to generate collaborative synergies by being an open innovation space and an ecosystem based on talent and investment in technology, bringing together large corporate businesses, small and medium enterprises, innovation centres, and technology laboratories. DFactory Barcelona provides:

An ecosystem to facilitate the digital transformation of the European industry.

• Connects technological companies that provide digital solutions with companies undergoing transformation that seek innovative solutions.

• It brings together cutting-edge technologies such as robotics, sensors, AI, Blockchain, Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, 3D Printing, Augmented and Virtual Reality.

• A 17.000 m2 building over 4 floors with open, clear, and digital spaces.

• An investment of 30 million euros.

• 2.000 tonnes of steel.

• Facilities committed to the 2030 Agenda.

• Leed Gold certification in sustainable and efficient building.

• WELL Gold certification for the health and wellbeing of both the workers and the people who visit the building.

• It has an 85% occupancy rate.

• 35 companies have been installed, that are providing direct employment to 220 professionals and indirect employment to 650 (figures 2024).

Our vision is for DFactory Barcelona to radiate across the entire industrial area until it turns the Zona Franca of Barcelona into a District 4.0 for the entire Metropolitan Region of Barcelona and internationally.
