About me
Ilkka Rytkölä is an innovative and inspiring naval architect working as Ecosystem Lead in Meyer Turku Shipyard in Finland. The program is called Necoleap, the biggest business ecosystem development program in the world aiming to create climate neutral cruise ship and shipyard.
Ilkka has worked with business ecosystems, digitalisation, innovations, concept design and development of several ship types, products and solutions together with ship owners, shipyards, suppliers, universities, research institutions and classification societies.
He holds a Master of Science (Naval Architecture) from the Aalto University (Helsinki, Finland) and has over three decades of extensive experience from international and especially from Finnish marine industry. Ilkka is a member of the research council of the Finnish Marine Industry association. His personal drivers are marine life and nature, and he enjoys yachting and Formula windsurfing in the beautiful Turku archipelago. Ilkka is on a mission to predict the future by creating it.
