I'am cofounder/CEO of Technolution / TNL. We design and build mission critical systems for the Transportation, Utility, Defence, Aerospace and Semicon sectors.
With a proud track record of more than 30 years, Technolution is a market leader in Europe. TNL is the U.S. subsidiary of Technolution. Our products and solutions are used in critical defense and security applications, Space, Mobility, Energy and High-Tech.
This Dutch company began in 1987 with four technology aficionados who firmly believed in the great opportunities that software and electronics can offer. I'am Jan van der Wel. I founded Technolution / TNL in 1987 with three other enthusiastic techies. My bachelors degree studies were about mechanics, electronics en embedded software. I graduated on the subject communication systems for home land security services.
I designed multi-agent based intelligent network decision support systems in a chaotic open world. This chaotic open world is characterised by always changing environments and events caused by unexpected autonomous causes including noisy, incomplete and inconsistent data. Typical applications researched and valorised were applications that need geo information like transportation, utilities and homeland security.
With this kind of R&D, among many other R&D, we became an expert at the design and build of mission critical systems and instruments within Transportation, Utility, Defence, Semicon and Medtech sectors.
During my work, Technolution / TNL has grown to about 240+ bachelor and master degree skilled techies.
