Bolidt is a manufacturer of thermosetting synthetics. The company is specialized in the development, production and application of synthetic deck covering systems and custom-made synthetic products & systems for sea, land and air defence applications.

 These synthetic products & systems meet the specific mechanical, chemical, electrical and aesthetic requirements of the market. The strength of Bolidt is that all products and systems are developed and produced at our in-house laboratory and production facility. As a result, Bolidt is able to guarantee constant improvement and innovation. This makes Bolidt a reliable and valuable partner for defence organizations, technological institutes and military organizations worldwide.

 For over 50 years Bolidt has a strong focus on the naval and maritime industry. You can find the Bolideck synthetic deck covering systems onboard a large variety of navy ships all over the world such as frigates, combat support ships, amphibious transport ships and submarines. Besides deck covering systems, Bolidt also supplies solutions for very specialized naval & submarine application, embedded constructions and grouting – and ballast compounds.

 In addition, Bolidt is involved in various R&D programs led by the Dutch Ministry of Defence. In cooperation with COMMIT, the Royal Netherlands Navy, TNO, naval shipyards and other suppliers to the global defence industry, a large number of new innovative solutions are being developed. Extensive research is carried out in the field of Target Echo Strength reduction, Radar Absorbing materials, advanced solutions for IR and Optical camouflage using smart and adaptive materials.

 The main aim is to strengthen the position of Bolidt in the domestic defence market while structurally increasing market shares abroad through entering strategic alliances in the global defence industry.
