Policy Session: Lithuanian Space ambition
- Panel Discussion
Since 2014, when the first two national satellites were launched, Lithuania has taken significant steps toward the development of its space sector. However, an even greater step followed in May 2021, when Lithuania became an associate member of the European Space Agency. Later, in 2022, country adopted Lithuanian Space Sector Development Strategy, setting an ambitious vision - to become a provider of competitive upstream products and technologies, as well as downstream services.
During the discussion, together with Lithuania's space industry leaders, we will explore this ambition, asses the progress made so far, and discuss the necessary actions to achieve this ambitious goal by 2027.
