About

For three generations, after Second World War, we have been grape growers in Verduno, and since 2006, I – Diego Morra – have been crafting wines that reflect our passion and dedication. Here som Key details about our estate:

  1. Owned vineyards :

Total area: 30 ha (74 acres) across Verduno, La Morra, and Roddi

Nebbiolo for Barolo: 14 ha (35 acres), including 4 ha in the prestigious Monvigliero cru, producing our flagship Barolo DOCG Monvigliero (6,000 bottles annually). The vineyards are located between 220 and 440 meters high

  2. Other Varieties: Pelaverga, Barbera, Dolcetto, Chardonnay

  3. Annual Production: 80,000 bottles (future potential growth)

  4. Farming: Sustainable, SQNPI-certified

  5. Vision: young team (36 years old is the average age of our team), enthusiastic, dynamic, scrupulous and meticulous in the production of our wines, which derive only from grapes we own and personally cultivated in our vineyards and followed step by step. Strongly convinced of the importance of territorial cooperation and teamwork, in Italy and abroad, for the promotion and knowledge of the territory, products and history. We are an active part of some important associative subjects in our Region, and in the board of some of them, as Barolo Barbaresco Alba Langhe e Dogliani Consortium, Strada Del Barolo, I Vini del Piemonte Consortium, Verduno E’ Uno Association

PHILOSOPHY

The origin of the wine is, first of all, in the vineyard: the cellar helps the expression of the wine, with a prudent and elegant touch, identity and personal, but never invasive.

In the vineyard great attention to sustainability, and respect for the land, its times and needs, the the use of techniques with low evenironmental impact. Very careful and frequent selections in the vineyard, in search of the ripeness of each single bunch, limiting yields.

In the cellar a rigorous approach, in search of precision, finesse and maximum expression of terroir. Vinification in stainless steel tanks and large barrels carrefully selected.

Experimentation and continuous study to better adapt the processing techniques to the ever new challenges that arise.

All the work is aimed at supporting the personality of each vineyard, enhancing the diversity and nuances between different vintages, in the belief that only respecting the original characteristics of the land and climate it's possible to obtain identity wines, that excite and offer a deep and sincere interpretation.
