About the job
In the role of a Sales Manager, you will report to the Head of Sales Steel Central Europe & Ukraine. You will be mainly responsible for maintaining a lucrative relationship with our customer in the Netherlands. While tending to our customer’s needs as a primary point of contact, you will obtain orders from existing as well as potential markets. Therefore, it is important that you have a customer-centric attitude supported by a strong technical and commercial background. You should understand the unique demands of our clients and present them with tailor-made solutions. In this position, you will also see through the entire sales process from offer to cash with the support of a qualified team. During work, you will be traveling (inter)nationally approx. 50% of the time.
In addition, your tasks will include

Sales forecasting, demand planning & receivables management

Providing profound technical expertise and detailed application knowledge of customer processes and refractory products

Financial planning related to rolling forecasts, market pricing conditions, annual business plans, inventory management

Conducting price and contract negotiations

Preparing quotes based on pricing strategies in alignment with RHI Magnesita commercial management standards

Creating development plans of the customer to grow and strengthen the relation
What we expect from you in terms of
Education
- University degree in Metallurgy/Chemistry or similar
Languages
-
English – Proficient/Fluent
-
Any other language skills will be considered an asset
Work Experience
-
Several years of relevant working experience in sales
-
Profound knowledge of the refractory industry is desirable

The potential annual gross salary for this position is € 84,000.00 on a full-time basis, depending on your qualifications and experience, the amount of overtime, and your level of seniority. We will make sure to offer you a competitive salary package that values your relevant background and that’s in line with market values.
