About

For 600 years, KU Leuven has been driven by unending curiosity and a search for knowledge. The result is cutting-edge research that attracts the foremost minds in academia, engages our diverse student body, and ignites partnerships with industry to benefit society as a whole. The community of students, researchers, and industry partners work together to address global challenges and drive societal progress. The university is home to 15 faculties offering hundreds of degree programmes. Throughout the various faculties groups can be found with knowledge and expertise relevant for space. We invite you to connect with us as we explore opportunities for partnerships and enhance our impact on the world.

The Leuven Space Initiative (LSI) is a research initiative to connect researchers from all disciplines related to space research within KU Leuven. The LSI builds a network and maps the expertise available at KU Leuven to enhance visibility for industry, funding authorities, and funding agencies while fostering collaboration in future projects. The LSI can also serve as a contact point to identify complementary expertise to establish collaborations.
