About me
I believe that I should leave this planet in a better condition than when I entered it. As an engineer, I intend to use my skills and experience to better the world in which we all live. I am aiming toward a zero-carbon future through the use of innovative technology.
Experienced mechanical engineer with a significant project track record with industry leaders, demonstrable impact on products and projects, site experience, 1st class bachelor’s degree in engineering, and in progress towards gaining chartered status.
Designed and improved equipment used in offshore wind farms, shipping, and subsea applications and committed to solving major energy issues. Experienced in ensuring the reliability of vital components – bearing in mind environmental factors; and applying a systematic approach to problem-solving.
15 years of mechanical engineering experience. Accomplished detailed design of mechanical assemblies, concept development, hand calculations, wireframe, 3D analysis, and report writing. Procurement and project management experience ensure overall engineering leadership capacity. Strong experience in building client relationships and retaining clients; from requirements capture to concept, development, final design, and commissioning stages.
My organisation
Once lifts get heavier, a ring crane is required. Offshore wind is currently pushing the limits of the current lifting options available, so we have developed a ring crane design specifically for offshore wind. Our cranes can handle both the current and planned component weights and heights required and takes up a fraction of the space that current ring cranes need quayside. Our crane is mobile so can be moved for gaps in need, either to another port or abroad. Our cranes also take weeks to mobilise or demobilise by design, in comparison to months for our competition.
